In the course of growing my yoga business, I've tried many different business resources and often make recommendations or referrals based on what works for me.  Some of the businesses that I use offer affiliate programs that "reward" referrals.  I've decided to try this since I have been recommending these resources anyway.

I am currently using these websites and find that they are easy to use, affordable and offer professional products.  Please use the following links to access these websites.  Thank you!

  • Amazon.com Recommendations

Click on this link to Amazon.com to view my recommended tools for your yoga practice.  These are my favorites.  From time to time I'll add more items that you may enjoy and find useful.

  • By Region

ByRegion.net is an internet marketplace where you can find out what's going on in your region and where you can post information about what you are doing.  This website receives more than 5,000 hits a day and offer lots of services including an affiliation with www.mynewsletterbuilder.com.  Please use my affiliate number 10101619 when signing up for ByRegion.net.

  • EverythingYoga.com

EverythingYoga.com is a premier retailer of yoga mats, clothing, media and gear based in Pensacola, Florida. Founded in 2003, EverythingYoga is built on the idea that ethical approach to business creates more than just good karma, and as a consequence has created partnerships with hundreds of yoga studios and instructors throughout the United States.  Check it out!

  • IX Webhosting

I built this website using ixwebhosting.  It's quite affordable and offers lots of easy to use templates.  I did it, you can too.

  • My Newsletter Builder

Last year I began sending out email newsletters about once a month.  First I did it as a regular email.  That took hours and I was limited to sending out only 100 emails an hour.  Then I upgraded to writing the newsletter in microsoft publisher which I converted to a pdf file and emailed that.  It still took hours because I was still limited to 100 emails an hour and I was sending out hundreds.

There are several email management / newsletter builder sites available that offer similar products at various prices.  What I like about newsletterbuilder.com is that it's so easy to use.  What used to take me days takes only a few hours now.  Also, newsletterbuilder.com is affiliated with byregion.net.  100 emails a month are included with your byregion.net account.  It's an easy way to test drive the product.  Mynewsletterbuilder.com is less expensive than some of the others and offers a range of email volumes to choose from.  I've received very positive feeback from students who love the format and enjoy reading a monthly newsletter.  This is a subscriber service.  After you initially enter your students email addresses, they will receive an email confirming their subscription.  They an unsubscribe at any time.  New subscribers can sign up via your website or if they receive a forwarded email.

Please enter my username "yogahealsus" when signing up for mynewsletterbuilder.com.

  • Vista Print

Vista Print is a great source for affordable business cards and other marketing products.  I've created several postcards using Vista Print templates.  I've also created custom postcards using microsoft publisher which I then converted to pdf and uploaded with great success.  There is often a lot of trial and error when doing your own work, especially if you are learning as you go.  With Vista Print you can get a pdf proof before you order.  Vista Print also offers special discounts almost monthly so business cards can cost less than $10 for 250.  Can't beat it!  Please use the link when ordering from Vista Print.
