Yoga is highly adaptable allowing students to move in ways that accommodate aches, pains, limitations and healing. The regular practice of yoga can increase strength and flexibility, lower blood pressure, quiet the mind, improve concentration, and cultivate a sense of well-being. Our yoga classes offer a comprehensive yoga program that includes yoga philosophy, breathing techniques, yoga movements, concentration and meditation techniques and deep relaxation integrating body, mind and spirit. One-on-one Yoga Therapy and CoachingÂ
Yoga therapy offers tools to help you create the conditions in our body so that deep inner healing can happen. If you are someone who likes to grow throughout your life and be intentional about what you can do to feel healthy, happy, and whole, yoga therapy can be a gratifying way to increase life satisfaction. Our work starts with being curious and aware of thoughts, feelings, sensations, actions, conditioning, environment, etc. and how they influence one another. Being aware is a significant step. The next step is to explore strategies that are realistic and move us toward balance. This can involve ways to calm and sooth ourselves and ways to engage in life more fully. Susanne specializes in chronic pain and illness, insomnia, self-care for caregivers and counterbalancing stress. ​​
Yoga Teacher Training and Mentoring
Yoga Heals Us 25-hour Chair Yoga for Every Body Yoga Teacher Certification program is a comprehensive program that goes beyond how to adapt yoga to the chair. Chair yoga promotes proper alignment that can be helpful to anyone who practices yoga. This program includes hands on practices and Powerpoint presentations on health conditions such as osteoporosis, joint conditions and joint replacements.​​

Learn how to safely offer chair yoga classes and modifications using a chair for three levels of students. Serve students who need to use a chair for balance and safety, students who are recovering from illness or injury, students who need alternatives to getting on and off the floor, large groups including workplace seminars and conferences.​ Chair yoga offers movement options for every day situations such as working at your desk, long trips in a car or airplane. Chair yoga need not be “easy” either.
